  • priced in line with most high street necklaces despite the high quality of the materials.
  • is a family run business producing necklaces of this kind.all made with care and attention
Now my 4 year old was diagnosed with autism last june and since then we as a family have been trying all we can to make his and our life easier and this includes with products to help him learn, improve life and social skills, have fun and help his motor skills, balance ect.

When we was given the chance to review ChewiGem we jumped at the chance

Now when it arrived it came in a pretty netted bag.
The one we opted for was the Raindrop Nebula RRP: £12.50
I love the colour it reminds me of the glistening sea.

Our thoughts:

My son i must say seemed a little confused when i first showed him the necklace no doubt as he has only ever seen me or his sisters wear them, however once i explained to him that this was his special one that he could wear and chew on to his hearts content he loved it and couldn't wait to put it on.
And i must say since the first day of wearing he tends to chew on his ChewiGem more than his clothing/toys which i for one am very grateful for!(although i do have to keep an eye as he tends to try to chew the cord..which is not recommended)

It was very easy to adjust the size(the pic taken was before i adjusted it)
i like how even though its soft enough to the touch it is also very strong and i can see it lasting him for a long time, now i have been using it a few weeks now and i can honestly say i can see no signs of wear and tear or teeth indents and for that i was pleasantly surprised as unlike a baby he really gets his teeth stuck into it lol.

The only thing i will say is that although i love the colour and design its not very boyish and even my son kept saying can i have a car one? lol i think even animal styles or similar would be really nice for boys :)

The teething jewellery is made from that of similar materials found in most baby teethers. Their baby safe sillicone meets FDA standards and is BPA,PVC,Lead,Latex and Phthalate free.

Gumigem can withstand high temperatures can be washed easily in hot water ot in your dishwasher.

I was sent the GumiDrop necklace in Plumberry to test and review.

GumiDrops:

A magical mixture of a bead and a pebble, perfect little drops for those sore gums.

Priced at £15.95

My thoughts:

I really love the design its soo stylish that even with the blandest of clothes on it brightens them up.
I really like the packagine the bold writing was very eye-catching,and if you are like me and love anything girlie you will love the fact the design is part pink with flowers decorating the box.

it had a lovely long length to it which is differant to all my other necklaces but i felt actually complimented the neckline.

My son also loved it i think the fact that its really soft and flexible felt really nice on his teeth.
He sat in my arms chewing on it for ages.
He also loved sitting beside me and playing with it(occupied of course).
I really love my GumiDrop necklace,i have had a few comments on it already im happy to say.

Overall:

Great Design
Good value for money
soft  for little gums/teeth
would buy again.

Dino Bite Review and Competition

Dino Bite the new monster action game for fearsome,spine-tingling fun.

A fearsome T-Rex dinosaur is perched on top of a dino nest,a large green leaf covers 20 tiny and helpless blue, red, yellow and green baby dinosaurs who have been stolen from their mummy's nest!
The aim of the game:

Each player rolls the coloured dice then carefully lifts the green leaf and using the tweezers supplied grasps and lifts a baby out.
Make sure you stay alert though as the bad dino knows exactly what they are up to,hes waiting his chance to ROAR out loud and lunge towards you,and if that happens you will be out until the next round.

For 2+ players
Aged 4+ years
RRP: £19.99(Tesco are currently selling it for £10.00 so why not go and grab yourself a bargain)

Our thoughts:

At first myself and my 4 year old played this game together, one of his newest fascinations is dinosaurs so as soon as i pulled the box out he was like WOW its a dinosaur mummy ROAR ROAR over and over  again!
After a really quick look at the instruction sheet i found it really easy to set up and within 3 minutes we was ready to play.
Myself and my son really enjoyed this game we played for over an hour with my son beating me 4 games to 1.
Later on the same day my oldest 2 daughters aged 11 and 12 joined us for a couple of games they too really liked it the only thing we all had trouble with was the tweezers they were just too fiddly in the end we all just used our hands :)

Overall we love this game its suitable for the whole family to join in and provided hours of fun and lots of laughter i have already mentioned it to a few friends who were looking for birthday presents and a general fun family game.

Why not pop over to Drumond Park to see their whole range of great board games.
