So in keeping with the Xmas fun i took Alisha and Aaron to Dorchester to visit the Dorchester County Museum.
Dorchester County Museum is an independent museum and educational charity. It is owned and managed by the Dorset Natural History and Archaeological Society with financial support from Dorset County Council and West Dorset District Council.
It has lots to do and see, also the kids loved the little play areas where they could get all hands on,they is a lift making it accessible for pushchairs and wheelchair users, there is however a few small steps in places still which is easy to get a buggy up however i can imagine how a wheelchair user might struggle, however this aside there is lots to be seen on those accessible levels. a fab little gift shop, toilet facilities and a quaint little tea room, however sadly i forgot to give the tea room a visit.
A great and cheap day out with adults costing just £6.35 and children being free.
After our visit to the museum we went back to Weymouth and headed to The Palm House for a exclusive Frozen Xmas party, where the kids got to watch Andy the magician, and see Anna,Elsa and Santa! there was a lovely lunch and plenty of drink and food for the adults to buy as well as lots of Frozen bits to buy from Boutique on the corner's stall.
