Tutu Thursday! + Rosy Rosie Tutu Review

It's that time of week again when my daughter Alisha showcases a Tutu! We are as always joined by my friend and fellow yummy mummy blogger Viccy's daughter Scarlett from Jelly Rose Yate(Don't forget to pop by to see what Scarlett is wearing today).
This week Alisha was very lucky to get sent a  tutu  from Rosy Rosie.

Rosy Rosie.

Where. everything is handmade,or made from sustainable, organic or fairly traded materials.
Rowena the site owner set up Rosy Rosie a few years ago with the support of her husband and their two daughters, she started by taking pitches at various fairs, fetes and artisan markets and was really encouraged and touched by the welcome the stall and her products received. She was constantly being asked if she had a website which she soon realized needed addressing  and that was when the Rosy Rosie website was created.

 Primrose Tutu  from Rosy Rosie

We were sent a Primrose Tutu RRP £27.00 from Rosy Rosie,it arrived promptly in the post within days and we set to put it through it's paces,My daughter loved it as soon as she saw it as always she loves her tutu's.After removing from the packaging i placed it on my side to get a first glimpse picture(picture below)

I then gently placed it on a hanger and used my fingers to gently fluff up the tulle strands after being squished and delivered.
Handmade in a zingy primrose tulle with a large pink satin bow, made from quality tulle, double layered for thickness and hand knotted onto the soft, non roll elastic waistband that is used to stop the tutu from twisting. It comes in one size  approx 50-60cm fitting a girl of roughly 2-8 years.

Our thoughts:

Alisha loves it she said she feels like a ballerina and keeps spinning in it, we teamed it with a bright yellow cardigan, white top and black leggings as it was a little bit chilly plus to finish some yellow ankle socks. We went for a nature walk collecting leaves and acorns,we even met and met some owls though i don't think Alisha was too impressed!

At the end of a long and busy day the tutu remained clean though it had collected some dusty particles like all tutu's i have found do so we gave it a quick hand wash then hung up and re fluffed now it looks brand new and ready to wear again.

I highly recommend Rosy Rosie not only for their tutu's which any princess/dress up/make believe little girl will love but also because they have a great range of products where you will find something to suit everyone including the grown ups, great for those little extras,a special treat or as a gift for someone.

Thank you Rosy Rosie for this opportunity.
