I was recently sent a copy of 'The Anagranimals and The Wishing tree' to take a look and and give my oppinions on.
The book came lovely wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with ribbon and stickers with hearts on my daughter couldn't wait to open it and see what was inside.
As soon as my daughter saw the front cover she was eager to start reading and if im honest i was too, besides the cover one of the first things i noticed as part of a book loving family was how lovely the book was illustrated!
Anigranimals, animals with dreams of doing as others can do. They come across a Wishing tree who grants them a special wish. i wont give away too much of the storyline as this is very much a must read book!
we loved it.
Age range 5-9
Not only did we have lots of fun reading but also talking generally about each animal, the sounds they make and where they can be found, what they like to eat ect as lots of questions arose from my daughter throught reading this lovely book.
I will add my 6 year old autistic son enjoyed it too however he was more into the pictures and asking questions, but due to his autism he is very hard to keep still and into a story,i hope maybe a book just like this will come out specially made for children with special needs-one that is still for their age groups and not designed to baby them but more kept shorter in story length...
On the whole we love Anigranimals and cant wait for the next installment to come out. The webpage is currently under construction however you can follow Anigranimals on both facebook and twitter.
She is such a little beauty! You're not alone; I actually love looking through children's books, too. The illustrations look gorgeous in this one. Thanks for sharing!
