Children's Pirate Costume Review from Fancy Dress Party Ideas

Children's Pirate Costume Review.

Fancy Dress Party Ideas is a family company based in the idyllic seaside resort of Weymouth Dorset,on the U'Ks south coast.they have been supplying bargain costumes for over 30 years and are now selling online, delivering straight to your door.

I was sent for my daughter to try out and review the Cheap Children's Pirate Costume,Aged 3-6 years.

  • £5.99
  • shirt, red and white stripes with zig zag hem
  • eyepatch, black with skull and crossbones embossed
  • silver plastic clip on earring
  • belt, black with skull and crossbones
  • silver with bronze worn effect handled cutlass
  • red headband
My thoughts: As soon as my daughter saw what was inside our package her eyes literally lit up and she kept asking over and over if i was hers and can she try it on now? again and again.

The first thing i loved was how easy it was to put on i literally just pop it out of the packaging and straight over my daughters head,Tied the belt, then added the accessories and voila from girl to pirate all within 3 minutes!!.

Great design, lovely fit,and super cute! it has also given me the idea of possibly doing a pirate themed birthday party seeing as my daughter loved it that much, she has worn it pretty much every day on and off since receiving it,and no matter how much you wish at times that she would stop you cant for the live of you get her to stop going arrrghh im a pirate!! lol.

Washed really well, retained shape and no fading and best of all at this price its excellant value for money :)

On my next weymouth visit i plan on dropping in to say a personal thank you and let my daughter or son choose their next costume :)

1950's Rock and Roll Review from Fancy Dress Party Ideas

Fancy Dress Party Ideas 1950's Rock and Roll Review

Fancy Dress Party Ideas is a family company based in the idyllic seaside resort of Weymouth Dorset,on the U'Ks south coast.they have been supplying bargain costumes for over 30 years and are now selling online, delivering straight to your door.

I was sent to test and review the  1950's Rock and Roll skirt and scarf set in green and pink.

  • £11.99(was £13.29)
  • Includes: skirt and scarf
  • Skirt has 3 buttons to allow for adjustmentfrom size 10-14(28"-34")and is 24" long.
  • One size(fits most)
My thoughts:

I loved the bright bold colours, the 3 button feature is great i loved how i still had a spare button!
Now i'm massively into my late 50-60's music so what was the first thing i did once i had this outfit on??
Boogie of course! very badly! but still my 2 year old loved being twirled around the room.I loved the swirly skirt..beware it is very billowy(so if you intend twirling in public wear something you dont mind having on show!! hehe.

It didn't come with a top however with this outfit its very easy to team with a cheap one from primark my only wish was that the underskirt was included in the price. You can however buy these seperatly on their website.
The material was great and washed really well and i also really liked the scarf,it was the perfect accessory to finish it all off. i cant wait to have a reason to wear this outfit out!

I was sent one to review by Elinens, Go Team Spirit!! i loved watching the Olympics on tv and each time i use this towel i feel like cheering!

So soft and bold in colour and pattern. even after washing several times it has retained its softness and even after tumble drying it hasn't shrunk or faded in colour. It is also very large in size, you certainly dont need to worry about this towel slipping at unconveniant times, and at such great value you really cant lose so why not get one now while stocks lasts!

Hoops and Crosses Review

Hoops and Crosses Review

Wholegrain that's a whole lot of fun!
New walkers Baked Hoops and Crosses are perfect for kid's lunchboxes.

I was recently approached by Walkers crisps over on Twitter about receiving and testing something special in the post,i agreed and a couple of weeks later my postie knocked on my door handing me a small green cardboard box with monkeys on.

My 5 year old son loves monkeys so was immediately intrigued as to the contents.

It was a pack of their new Hoops and Crosses in Roast Beef flavour mmmmmmmmmm.

Hoops and Crosses:

  • Available in 3 yummy flavours, salt and vinegar, roast beef and prawn cocktail.
  • 56% holegrain-perfect for sneaking in some goodness.
  • 18g bag.

We all had a taste our thoughts:

They taste just like monster munch which we love!. but they are lots smaller which  meant they were easier for my 2 year old to hold and eat.

My 5 year old grabbed a few and proceeded to try and play a game of  noughts and crosses.

Another success from Walkers!

ohh my 3 and 5 year old also enjoyed the mini booklet with facts...not because of what it said....but because they loved seeing the monkeys hehe.
